The second research project is a content analysis where students code media (a full season of a TV show, 3 months worth of online newspaper articles or magazines, a month of social media, etc.), then write-up their findings. The third research project is a group project. Students research an NKU student issue that can be found at other Kentucky schools and nation wide, then write-up a focus group protocol and facilitate focus groups. They then write up findings as a group and present a formal in-class presentation.
