LAW 847 Chinese Business Law (3 credits)


Prerequisite(s): One year of college-level Chinese or its equivalent, or permission from instructor.
This course is an introduction to business law of the People’s Republic of China.  The course focuses on developing the students’ understanding of China’s approach to contract law and tort law and, where time allows, intellectual property law.  Students will also develop their ability to read primary legal materials in Mandarin Chinese.
