SWK 670 Mental Health/Illness & Psychiatric DX I (3 credits)

This course provides the history of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) and its purpose/application in the field of social work. This course provides a comprehensive evaluation of the first 9 sections of DSM-5, emphasizing the diagnostic criteria required to accurately assess psychiatric disorders.
