GLY 130 Geology of National Parks - NS (3 credits)Hours: 3 classroom + 0 lab/studio Taught: Fall and spring A study of the principles of physical geology using national parks as examples to illustrate the concepts presented. This will include the formation and occurrence of rocks and minerals, the internal processes that have acted to form underlying rock structures, and the surficial processes that have acted to form current landforms.
