ACC 650 Forensic Accounting (3 credits)Hours: 3 classroom + 0 lab/studio Prerequisite(s): Admission to the MACC program or permission of the MACC director. Taught: Fall, Spring and Summer A study of investigative accounting procedures and techniques used in litigation support. Topics to be covered include financial reporting fraud, employee fraud, income reconstruction methods, business damage calculations, damages for personal injury, testifying as an expert witness, evidence management, and business valuations. ♦
