INF 284 Introduction to Computer Networks (3 credits)

Prerequisite(s): C- or better in MAT 102 or higher or placement; and one of INF 110 , INF 120 or CIT 130 .

Introduction to computer networking principles, focusing on network applications such sa HTTP, Email, DNS, SSH and DHCP. Various protocols in the TCP/IP stack and emerging networking technologies are covered. Lab exercises reinforce concepts.
