LAW 300 The American Legal System I (3 credits)

Hours: 3 classroom + 0 lab/studio
Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing and C- or better in either PSC 100  or JUS 101  or PSC 204 .

This course provides an introduction to the principles of common law with a focus on tort law and contract law. Students will explore legal analysis and policy considerations as they apply to relief from the wrongful acts of others and agreements between parties.
