HIN 486 Healthcare Analytics (3 Credits)

Hours: 3 classroom + 0 lab/studio
Prerequisite(s): HIN 386   or Business Informatics departmental permission
Taught: Spring only
Introduces students to health analytics through the use of technologies and applied statistical analysis used to improve patient care outcomes and to enhance the delivery of healthcare services including healthcare statistics, tools for organizing, analyzing, and preparing data, healthcare data analysis, study designs, exploratory data application, and benchmarking.
