PAD 601 Human Resource Management (3 credits)

Hours: 3 classroom + 0 lab/studio
Taught: Spring only
Principles and problems of recruitment, examination procedures, rating, classification, and assignment to the job; philosophies of pay, promotion, employee motivation, and discipline analyzed; formulating and administering public personnel policies, concepts, and principles utilized in selecting governmental personnel systems; focus on American national, state, and local personnel systems as well as on non-profit agencies.
