PAD 631 Leading in Diverse Public Environments (3 credits)Hours: 3 classroom + 0 lab/studio Prerequisite(s): Open only to students in the MPA program. Taught: Variable, check with department This course explores theories and builds skills for leading and managing in diverse public environments. Students will learn about the multitude of issues involved in modern dynamic contexts including race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, class, ability, gender, identity, and prejudice and privilege. They will understand issues of intercultural leadership and communication. ♦
