Northern Kentucky University social work programs prepare students to be critical thinkers in the use of research knowledge and theory in developing and applying assessment, intervention, and evaluation methods with clients and communities. Our strong academic program provides students with the knowledge, values, and skills to become competent and capable social workers.  We emphasize inclusiveness, social justice, ethics, and professionalism in our curriculum and in the field.  Students in the School of Social Work are supported by full-time faculty, part-time faculty, administrators, and staff dedicated to the success of our students in their classes and their field placements.  Our BSW and MSW programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
