The minor in Data Science provides students with a solid foundation in statistics, analytics and programming. It is a transdisciplinary program developed to prepare students to process, analyze and present data from different domains and sources. Students take courses in data analytics and visualization, databases, probability and statistics, business analytics, a programming course and an elective that deepens the student’s knowledge in statistics or big data.

Students take the 6 required courses below (16 hours), 1 course from the list of programming courses (3 hours), and 1 elective (3 hours).
