Thinking about the program: The Associate of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (AAIS) is designed to meet the needs of students seeking a college credential for career advancement or as a foundation for further study toward a baccalaureate degree. This program fosters intellectual breadth and depth, emphasizing integrative thinking to prepare students for a wide range of academic and professional opportunities
Special graduation requirements:
- At least six hours must be taken from NKU after declaring the program.
- No course can be used twice in the AAIS program (except IST 185, which fulfills both the Core and General Education requirement).
- This degree cannot be counted as a major, minor, or focus in an NKU Baccalaureate program.
- A minimum of 60 hours excluding developmental courses.
