MHI 601 Technical Foundations of Health Informatics (3 credits)

This course introduces the fundamental concepts in the field of Health Informatics. The course provides an overview of healthcare networks, software, and computers, such as electronic health records, computerized physician order entry, and digital imaging, and their use in creating interoperable systems.
